Look, just keep the same energy for the rest of the candidates who haven't said a peep about reparations. :hubie:
Wasn’t there just a thread where y’all were complaining that we were doing exactly that?

“W-w-well if y’all hate all the democrats then who you gonna vote for then?! Y’all must support Trump! Your candidate will never win you need to vote for who’s better than Trump!”

Is what I’m pretty sure y’all say when we criticize the rest of the candidates

All the black immigrants against AADOS are short sighted. If we get reparations it will be a precedent for the rest of the diaspora to get reparations from their colonial masters. Also we would become the richest and most powerful blacks on the planet and would be able to invest in black nations around the world.

This is business not personal. You have your own ethnic background and you arent us, but dont doesnt mean we hate you.

I think this is something ACL understands that ADOS doesn't, you have to have some subtlety with how you operate if you want to get things accomplished in America.

Dear god, no.:snoop:

This sounds like some parents immigrant "kitchen wisdom" on how to "make it in America". FOH:trash:

Immigrants that come to this country or either "black" or "white", there's no positionality in this country outside of that; thinking there is just false consciousness.

Black Labor - White Wealth.

Black Labor was chattel slavery, sharecropping, and now the prison industrial complex. White wealth is a bit of old white money and the importation/reclassification of other non-black people as white. ADOS got their civil rights wins when it was just us ADOS vs AG (not MAGA). ADOS made it not so great for these folks by not being subtle or tiptoeing around like our paperwork wasn't in order.

We built this, we're not going anywhere, and a debt has to be paid and everybody needs to know it... or you can go with your black and "brown coalition" and see how that works out for you.

I think we may be getting caught up on “leaders” too early. If ADOS is really going to be successful it needs to be bigger than a few people because at its core it’s a way of defining our ethnicity.

The civil rights movement had plenty of people who initially started a certain segment, were disagreed with or fell out of favor. That didn’t stop the fact that black people had no rights and kept fighting. Our best and brightest will be bred out of defining ourselves and knowing where we come from.

Agents should always be spotted for though.

How are Yvette & Tone not the leaders tho? Before them, there was no movement of ADOS online...at least not with the consistency and focus that they have displayed over the past 2 years.

I didn’t say they weren’t the leaders of the movement. I said we can’t get caught up on them, it’s about our whole ethnic group.

If they they wake up and decide to say fukk this and go buy some Starbucks franchises tomorrow that should have no bearing on us moving forward

Same here. Tone seems like the type to start acting different when a little light gets shined on him. I've seen previous videos of him in the past where he talks about working with the real Freeway Ricky Ross and other "big wigs" and he does some serious name dropping. Yvette is also starting to get a little battery in her back as I saw with last night's stream, but I think she's still rooted heavily in the cause. It's hard to say it, but black people love shine and it seems no matter what, 90% of us be like moths to a flame when the light starts to hit us.

At least with breaking brown and the ADOS movement, the whole platform is rooted in facts and tangibles and no matter how "hollywood" the leaders get, the group as a whole is well informed enough to always keep the demands in order.

He had did that before cause people were questioning his credentials. He had been low profile for so long no one really knew his background like that.

American DOS should see the bigger picture and I believe the movement does. As long as the USA and the West keeps causing these disasters in the Latin American, Caribbean and Africa, people will always flee. American DOS movement is about self-interest but it is also about justice for everyone. It is not an American chauvinistic movement.

But that can't happen that if there are rogue parties calling Africans and West Indians disease ridden on livestream. We got people questioning the Blackness of everyone. Then there is some weird underlying anti-feminism. Nobody will want to side with the ADOS Movement and the ADOS can't go right-wing because right-wingers aren't in favor of reparations.

Which is why I am glad in Yvette's most recent stream she called out the trend hopping. Which is why I am glad Breaking Brown family doesn't have the Hotep energy. I am glad Breaking Brown is composed of serious American DOS and allies who are of all ages and educational backgrounds and they don't care about the YouTube/Twitter drama. All they care about is reparations and political rights. They watch Yvette and Tone for politics, not to be entertained.

American DOS movement can't stand isolated from what is going on in the USA. 2020 is not far and shyt needs to get put together.
The biggest picture for ADOS is reparations, we see it clearly.

We are not questioning blackness (at least not anymore). We have clearly defined who we are based on race+lineage+geography. Sure there will be a small group of people that are like half ADOS half non ADOS, but that group is small enough that it would be case by case. Clearly defining ADOS has eliminated alot of the "black enough" talks.

The ADOS movement standing on it's own is part of what makes it so effective. It's critical we eliminate all the distracting voices from the agenda. We've tried to build alliances and most of the time people just want to use us as a voting army or a negativity sponge for their agendas. And we get left with nothing.

no offense to you and i say this respectfully, but you seem to be wanting to include other people in this agenda, and that historically not worked for ADOS. We can't allowed things to return to a vague concept of "fighting white supremacy". Groups need to start knocking out specific agendas.

Tone has an Ego issue.

Yvette is far more humble, she tries to spread credit to everyone. While Tone is saying he's here to finish Dr. King dream.
Also variations of DOS have been floating around for years
AAdos, Doas, Doacs ETC have been around and breh seems like hes to invested in taking credit for it. Its not about that, we talking about 35 million people
We cant have it to where theres one or two face's to this movement, extremely dangerous

This will change everything -- politics, media, entertainment, publishing, etc. One we reject those who are disrespectful and not supportive and toxic to our culture/people -- they will no longer get to speak for us -- and act like they are apart of our community. They are outsiders looking in -- making guesses and writing about them - like they are insiders.
And to keep it real, the bolded is paramount to getting this thing into the ADOS mainstream conscious

Kamala Harris is the only major presidential candidate that has gone on record saying she supports some type of reparations, but nah fukk her. :troll:

Gee it's almost like she's being systematically targeted by trolls and bad faith arguments meant to sow discord and fake information.

And what a surprise that The Intercept, a Russian friendly leftist site, is now talking about ADOS when it isn't targeting Harris and other democrats.

Stop playing dumb, people.

I really like where this is headed. I never thought this would be this big when I first viewed some of Yvette's videos about politics on Boyce Watkins channel several years ago. I'm glad I and others defended her positions here and in other spaces on the net even when a lot of people were dissing her hard. She is on the right path IMO and it's starting to really sink in. Keep pushing ADOS!!!

@Aggie Lean you aren't wrong. EVERYONE has noticed it, his case is one of the clearest I have ever seen. It says alot when he mainly calls into Yvette's show now and we just hear his voice and can still pick up these vibes. Not seeing his face but his voice. He has shown these signs when a caller is on the line too like he is mad insecure. Look at how he always brings up Jay Z and Diddy constantly. Then the random mention recently about how Charlamagne went to night school as his response to the Breakfast Club interview. Something is off with him. Its a wrap if he gets into it with Yvette.

You are making it clear now that you are being paid by Kamala's campaign. We have had at least two members on here give their own personal stories of getting their lives ruined in California because of her. Along with various other Black Californians. She messed up the Mitrice Richardson case and her father went on Yvette's show recently to call this out. She also handled the Kevin Cooper case a horrible way. Even recently she ignored the chance to criticize the two white male politicians with Blackface photos to instead criticize Justin Fairfax over sex charges that are not confirmed.

How you are still using diversions to justify what Kamala has said reminds me of how Angela Rye and April Ryan cape. There is no way you are not involved in some way with her campaign.

These are real lives of people its not a game. Cause God Forbid if you were visiting Cali years ago and ended up one person with your life ruined from her policies by unfair treatment you would be on here asking us to march with you.

I just want us to keep clarifying though that it wasn't all who were this way but I know what you mean. I can even say that the black immigrants who were indifferent about the negativity being spewed were worse than the perpetrators themselves. This bad blood brought everything to this situation now. Now look at what is happening to and is continuously happening to many in the countries they went to live.

The landscape is definitely gonna change in the fields you mentioned. I think at some point the government will crack down and shut down alot of online media. I don't mean the IGs or anything, I mean some legislation to crack down on independent blogs. Their goal will be something different...ie: Them being xenophobic with this "Black Extremist" wave they are on, but I think many of the Black immigrant owned platforms will be jeopardized from it which will create a space for ADOS to come in. That "Mute Root" hashtag Tariq created I think will literally happen to them and other forms of media.

Don't ever rule out anything, look at what happened with Don Lemonade recently. In the clip of him repping ADOS he actually showed Kamala's interview with the Breakfast Club...he actually introduced the show as his source lol...Basically I'm saying nothing would shock me anymore. I can see in 2020 with the new Census rules and the Diaspora Wars, to see a reporter bringing up for example TheShadeRoom and Love and Hip Hop and say the owners are foreign and use the platforms to make fun of ADOS. Things like that would start a movement to shut down problematic media that disrespects ADOS.

Not to be trivial or anything but it is music I am most curious about. That will be lightning in a bottle with the new wave of music.

@GodinDaFlesh I can't believe you really said that. I thought the ACL thing you did was just light trolling but to see you actually think like that? :gucci: You say that "ADOS do not understand" as if our foreign brothers and sisters are not being played all over Africa and Europe. How many stories do we see of African women getting knocked up by Chinese men and getting deserted? Is this the subtleness you are talking about? Chinese running through Jamaica and other Caribbean countries? How are they going at colonizers in subtle ways? Being subtle gets you killed. It makes you be viewed as weak and that is honestly why they are around foreign black immigrants now. I gotta be real man.
