Do I think a discussion of reparations has been muted because white society has not fully acknowledged and taken responsibility for slavery and the devastating impact it has had and continues to have on African American Descendants of Slavery? Yes.

All this right here. Further, we ourselves have been trying to downplay it. All that Moors*/ we were here before Columbus shyt is diluting our claim.
