the voter that wants Coal to come back to his town because his town USE to be based on COAL. not understanding...forget global warming science. look at china. thats what will happen to the US if you take off all regulation just so you and your town can thrive off of the old resources and not get serious about going into renewable energy. these people are not just willing to catch black lung just to work again. they are willing to make sure we all have black lung and have a constant cloud of crap over all of our cities. so in essence. they are willing to kill themselves and the rest of us for a short term job that they wont even be able to use the benefits of since they and us will all be sick and on our death beds from not being able to breath or drink some contaminated drinking water. Disagree with your definition of stupidity and I think that classification is what is going to keep kicking the DNC in the ass. If people say I pick trump over a known quanity, then stop doing and supporting the policy of that known quanity and thats really to both big parties.
China isn't what will happen to the US if coal is brought back, China is going through what the US, UK, Germany, France, and all other industrialized nations went through during mechanization and industrialization, its going to be ugly and dirty fuel use ramping up before you have the luxury of going "green"
Black lung has more to do with poor work place practices and cronyism in sheilding companies from lawsuits than with using coal or mining for it.
