At least he finally got something, cuz he ain’t ever seeing a conference finals, the only MVP wearing that jacket:mjlol: Joker got the best player in the world title, a world title, 2 MVPs, and a people champ MVP. And his team is still a heavy favorite, off the back of his game. He’ll live :skip:

Whining about it , then getting it. makes it a bad look. should've just grinded quietly. just gives haters more room to hate.

but he absolutely deserved it.

I think it was coinflip between Embiid and Joker. I just think people are disappointed because Embiid disappeared once he won (and let's honest Embiid did whine about it) and Joker added more fuel to the fire by going on the run he did and winning the whole shebang.

Being "robbed" of the MVP due to voter fatigue is actually a sign of greatness. Jokic fans should stop crying
It wasn't simple voter fatigue. Embiid cried about not having one and then Perkins did heat it up bringing up race. This could've been a chance for a player's greatness to override that and that possibility was erased.
Jordan, Bron, Duncan, Kareem, Magic never won 3 in a row. Kobe, Shaq, Dream only won one each. Jokic will be okay :manny:
Just because those people did not, doesn't mean no future player should either.

This is the main reason why he didn't get it last year. Contrary to the 2 previous seasons the Nuggets didn't need him as much to be competitive thanks to players returning from injury, which also meant that they were gearing up for a long playoff run. So why chase that. At the end of the day he won the trophy that matters while we all saw how Embiid went out.

I think Embiid completely deserved to be MVP but that shyt was poetic as fukk for him to flame out the way he did after shytting on Jokic and then for him to have sit on his couch and watch Jokic do historic shyt game after game in route to winning his first chip. :banderas:
We really couldn’t have scripted the playoffs much better than how it actually played out :wow:

I respectfully disagree. All those players had more seasons deserving of MVP but didnt get it. Its a narrative, team success, your turn award. You dont get it every year you are worthy. That is the standard for the award in modern times. And as great as Jokic is, is he the guy to change that for? :mjpls:

I am not even gonna try to act like race isnt a part of this :manny: especially when the last guy to win 3 straight is Bird. Mike took over and suddenly we get tired of voting for the same dude :rudy:.
