It goes to show how ludicrous it all is really.
Folks spend 15+ hours a week listening/watching to podcasts/streams like this or combining multiple of them.
This is the thing: listening to podcasts don't get anything done and builds nothing for anyone except the podcaster. It's all a hustle to occupy your time, leaving less time to do or build something meaningful for yourself. You're their cash cow.
Folks will spend their time listening to podcasts, coming on places like this or social media to type up shyt about what they heard or "learned" on these episodes/podcasts. Then because they haven't done shyt will go back to listening to more podcasts looking for more "answers". Meanwhile, they're giving the podcaster what they want - more people to tune in while you still got nothing to show for it. You're building the podcaster's dream, not yours. The podcaster is grinding, the listener is not.
People will even write/take notes like it's doing something. You know what you can be doing with those 10-15 hours per week instead? After 10 years that's a whole year of physical time spent listening to a snake oil salesman. After a decade that's nearly 10,000 hours of listening to podcasts vs real skill-building. It's basically the self-help industry, except it only takes up 8 hours of your time to finish a full 300-page self-help book. These guys getting you to invest 800+ hours of your time listening to them ramble (about 30,000 pages worth of books from one author).
At the end of the day, you're going to have to grind and level up yourself. No one is going to do it for you, no matter how many people you listen to.
Everything else will take care of itself after that.
There, saved a whole bunch of time for everybody.
