The Killing - Season 4/Final season thread (August 1st on Netflix)

Season starts in 4 days

I wish Netflix had got this show sooner... Mystery shows are always a lot better when you can binge watch them instead of waiting a week for each episode

@ AMC for being a$$holes and only allowing Netflix to do a short final season instead of just selling them the show

They should've sold it to Netflix 2 seasons ago but fukk it, at least we'll get some closure

I know I'll probably be done watching the season by Friday morning

same thing i said.Maybe they told the fam he didnt commit suicide til after the text

i like the season but thought it was too predictable

they didnt surprise me like they did with the other 2 cases

i guessed the killer in the 1st episode and guessed

the drill sergeant from the school was Kyles real mother

in the 2nd episode

i figured by episode 4 they werent gonna arrest Linden or Holder and cover up Skinner being a serial killer

i was hoping maybe we could get more seasons but they wrapped everything up.Neither of them werent even cops anymore at the end

also wish we couldve seen the Larsens one last time before it was over

overall good final season

Two episodes in and been impressed.

Holder fukking with the army brats.

It's shame the season is so short, I'm not watching much right now so could have done with this being longer.

they fooled me with the killer, i thoought it was the 2 boys and the colonel. I thought his fam was both pedos, molesting the daughters and him and lincoln.

the 2 boys were just a smokescreen.One thing i know about this show is that they always wait til the last episode to reveal the killer so anybody who looks like they may be the killer before the finale i automatically eliminate them.Same with the neighbor taking pics,if it was him they wouldve waited til the last episode to reveal the was stalker so i knew it wasnt him either

i knew it had to be the son because of how brutal the murders were,that was personal

and in episode 2 when the colonel said she lost a son i automatically knew she was talking about Kyle and she helped cover up the murder for him

I just watched 4 of the final 6.

It's a shame this show hit its stride so late, but to far its been incredible this last season.

@hexagram23 I recommend you give it another shot. Season 3 and 4 are so much better than the first 2.

final episodes are rated very high. With the last episode averaging a 9.6 right now on IMDB.

watching season 3 and 4 recently just makes me think of how they fukked the first 2 seasons up. It was way too slow...The pacing of the final 6 is how the whole series should have been.

whatever, I'm satisfied with how everything was wrapped up. I liked the ending more than I thought I would.

This show should be highlighted as an overall missed opportunity.

This is why pacing is so important. Right now, the 4th season on IMDB is getting breaking bad type of scores from people.

I am probably going to rewatch the entire series now because of how good this last season was. I don't remember much from Season 1 and 2 apart from it being extremely detailed and slow.

I finished this up this past Sunday. Great show but you can tell they condensed the episodes because of how fast things progressed.

And it worked...that was the problem with the show all along. It should not take 2 seasons to solve a case...that's way too slow.
