They're not even the best team in their own city. Right now they're looking at 5th in the conference. Heat, Nets, Bulls, and Pacers are all ahead of them.

How is this anti-Melo? I'd be worried about paying Melo $29m at 34 just like any other GM in the league.
He's encouraging the Knicks FO to get creative. I wouldn't get rid of Melo but somehow keeping him under max and somehow reorganizing some of the roster isn't a bad idea.
Yeah, I can see that. But them you're stuck trying to compete against superteams than are better structured. Oh well.Getting creative requires 2 things:
trying to build around less in a superstar league.
draft picks that the Knicks don't have.
It's easier said than done and it requires a massive step back that nobody's trying to see them take.
Here's kinda how I see it.Yeah, I can see that. But them you're stuck trying to compete against superteams than are better structured. Oh well.

them knees looking solid and sturdy on media day.You shut yera gahdam mouth. Tyson will for sure return to dpoy form. Melo finally got that 2nd patch so hes ready to put the league on notice! I can see it.
And amarethem knees looking solid and sturdy on media day.
Hawks gonna have to circle them for sure but i think the #tape will be early favorites outside the heat
Right @KologeroBx ?

He didn't make a case at all outside of say kyrie and 2 other guys . Saying oh other teams will covet Marc gasol and how Memphis will resign him not knowing how Memphis competes going forward with a a aging zbo . He gave no reason we can't sign rondo either .... So really he said shytThose free agents wont be available is what hes saying. Youre going to have cap space but the impact players that yr are going to get extensions and wont be available
Your just showing your Melo hate so ill ignore you breh .demanding a max deal deal from a team already up shyt's creek luxury tax wise would harm his legacy?
He could play for free and it wouldn't open up the money necessary to lure someone else, and that's assuming that player reaches free agency
I didn't name any free agents did I ? The guy wants to try and say how trading Melo because how he might play at 34? The guys game isn't athleticism based . He doesn't like Melo that's his perogative but why can't cp3 go further than Melo in the playoffs ?? I saw jr smith become a sixth man of the year award winner last year why can't I give Melo credit for that improvement ? The whole defense argument is stupid because he admits he doesn't know how it will look with the new players and a whole season of shump and his first real training camp . Make assumptions based off last years division winning teams brehs . He gave a reason why the Knicks won't sign 3 of the free agents everyone else he's assuming takes the teams options ....I should just take his word for it ? Why can't we get rondo ?? Oh that's right Lowe said let's wait and see what him and tony Parker do and what happens . Yeah he really broke it down for me . The Knicks would lose a lot of ground by trading Melo for a bunch of second tier players but I guess since you and Lowe ignore elite offense and write that off you don't see his value .But you're not trading a superstar franchise top player. You'd be trading Carmelo Anthony. Outstanding offensive player, iffy defender.
Chandler ran out of gas after being the sole defensive linchpin for much of the season. He's still one of the best defensive big men in the league and the most important player on the team aside from Melo. And if they kept Chandler and traded Anthony for, oh let's say, Rudy Gay, Jonas Valanciunas, and Terrence Ross I don't think the Knicks would lose much ground with the improved interior defense and more balanced scoring.
.
Yeah, I can tell you didn't read the article. He broke down why this won't happen.

Is That The Only Way Arguing With Me Is Fun? Making Up Opinions That You THINK I Have, You're Losing Ya Mind Breh lol

I Mean, We're No Powerhouse Like The Atlanta Hawks But Im Hoping We Can Get Homecourt For The 1st Round
, our teams do not parallel each other in ANY facet. You nikkas are about to max a nikka that will NEVER win y'all a championship. Meanwhile, we have flexibility and YOUNG stars. Holla at us when y'all get young nikkas doing this...Look at this nikka trying to tide us in with their instability problems, our teams do not parallel each other in ANY facet. You nikkas are max a nikka that will NEVER win y'all a championship. Holla at us when y'all get young nikkas doing this...
a great team ? We were the second seed last year . You guys cAn make all the excuses why it happened ( funny how it's ok to make excuses for why the Knicks aren't good but not when they lose then we are sore losers ) he made a bunch of points about defense for a team that isn't here anymore , a player on a new team (bargs) etc . So pretty much his points are all his opinion ( he's already made it clear he doesn't think a top 3 player in Melo is a "superstar" with the way he dismissed his impact on the Knicks ) I'm sure you guys will wait for the Knicks to not win a ring and up this as if they give more than one ring a year . Why isn't he writing articles about the nuggets and clippers?? Two underperforming teams that actually came into the seasin with high hopes. We heard this same song and Dance last year but I guess let's give out slow claps for the pacers who also didn't win a ring but tried real real hardI'd imagine the Lakers would have to add pieces to that deal, and they have a bunch of expirings on the roster to help make that happen.
I notice no Knicks are talking about the long defensive breakdown in the middle of the article. They're just not good enough on that side of the ball to be a great team.
Just like you said last year right ?? We stay getting the last laugh
Melos games isn't based on athleticism more strength and shooting touch . I think he can productive late in his career and he's not injury prone like say cp3 and Dwight .How is this anti-Melo? I'd be worried about paying Melo $29m at 34 just like any other GM in the league.
He's encouraging the Knicks FO to get creative. I wouldn't get rid of Melo but somehow keeping him under max and somehow reorganizing some of the roster isn't a bad idea.
Yawn another year another trip Knicks hate post . Be sure to disappear like you did last year when they did good only to pop up at times of distress ... Oh and keep saying to give Jeremy Lin that poison pill dealThe biggest issue with the Knicks front office is the Knicks are recession proof. Having the only arena in Manhattan allows Dolan to do things his way or the high way. And his way has obviously yielded horrific results since he's taken over the team.
Melo guarantees a good enough team to make the playoffs annually....but throwing all your eggs into a max deal for a player that's about to hit his 30th bday, isnt smart basketball wise. Who knows what really goes on behind closed doors with this organization. Melo certainly has a lot of pull though.
