The Lakers and Hornets trade for Knecht and Williams has been rescinded due to Williams failed physical. Edit: Charlotte is challenging the rescinding

I never said that I think Mark Williams is a bum. As most have said in this thread, he was playing in silence and low lights here in Charlotte. I think he is a good player. But is he replace AD status?

The question is: will he be able to not be injured, and handle the spotlight of playing in LA with Bron and Luka? Its literally from the outhouse to the penthouse of attention. I hope that he pulls it off.

ItWasWrittenThatIAmAc00n.

You rejoiced when Jason Whitlock was out here fighting in Kyrie's corner; grinning with all his teeth showing because a NBA player was finally promoting Right-wing rhetoric.

Go swallow that butter biscuit that your white daddy left for you on the floor, you c00n.
This fakkit calling people c00ns when all he does is suck foreign cacs dikks. Bytch ass fakkit

I was vaguely familiar with his game, but the more I read about him this is a horrendous trade for LA

Sounds to me like he’s Al Jefferson. And Al Jeffersons were phased out 10 years ago. If you’re a big who can’t defend or shoot 3s you’re a liability. Very few exceptions and the ones that come to mind are in an endless trade loop: Nurkic, Valanciunas

You also go back to the ‘we need more shooters’ dilemma that knecht was eventually gonna fix. Bron and Luka are the dreaded ‘good enough to be passable and take too many’, that 34-35% range. Rui is shooting lights out but he’s not a volume shooter.

So yea Williams 15 and 9 looks good on paper but that’s gonna evaporate playing with 3 or 4 guys ahead in pecking order. Gonna look crazy when he’s averaging 8 and 7 and having no or negative impact overall

The more you read about him?

You know you could actually watch him play instead of making an assessment based on what you're reading. The fact that you're comparing him to Al Jefferson is hilarious. Nobody that has seen him play would ever compare him to Al, in any fashion. How the fukk are you talking all this bullshyt about a player and making a projection of how he'll look on the Lakers based on what you've read?

They tryna pair Lamelo with Cooper Flagg the season is over.
and the way to make this work is by clustering the fukk outta the forward spots?

Brandon Miller
Grant Williams
Tidjaun Salaun
Dalton Knecht
Miles Bridges

sure, let's add Flagg.

I don't know where they're getting a center from but it ain't in this draft. Way more likely they feed fans "well Miller can play the 5 in some stretches. He's put on 20 pounds. He's in the best shape of his life."

Hornets clearly won't his trade. Best value trade during the deadline. They actually got a player who can get buckets and will be in the league for next 10 years, plus a 1st + pick swap. Additionally, they added no salary to do this.

Only purple-colored glasses Lakers fans can act like Lakers won this deal. Hornets got a shooting SF and gonna draft a big in this draft to replace the impact, if any, Williams had with them.
This is not the draft for this.
