Uhhh no he would’ve earned that right if he stuck with a franchise long enough. So basically because of things he did at other stops the Lakers are therefore obligated to hold themselves hostage and give him whatever he wants?
Running back to Cleveland after running off on them twice is weird too fr. He should either call it quits this year, or take a major pay cut and be a third option with the farewell tour that way he can try for a ring and still get all that Laker attention he loves. Outside of this he’s playing himself, enough is enough.

Nah Bruh magic was cooked, and even though he was "healthy" to play it was a huge distraction. Having him overlap into the Shaq era would have held them back, sort of like LeBron is holding them back now.
