The lakers are moving on from LeBron James after this season and LeBron feels a way. LeBron camp “Luka didn’t even want to be a laker”.

It was the last peak year we got from him, for sure. His prime at least extends thru the 2020 championship year (and you could argue maybe even after)---->but '18 was definitely the last, apex version of Bron that existed...

Which has made all the annoying nitching Kobe heads have done in his time there, that much more dumb. He was already old when he got to LA, and popping his hamstring 34 games into his first year there underscores the point---->he never played a game in a Lakers jersey, at the level he was at pre-LA for years. The Lakers never got peak LeBron James. And still brought a title to the franchise...
The die hard Kobe stans make the real laker fans look bad imo. The Kobe Bron debate ended damn near a decade ago maybe even longer than that. It's absolutely laughable some of these dudes are still on that

He really fúcked up when he chose to opt into that 50 million dollar contract. I get that his production calls for it. Still, you gotta acknowledge that you're 40, have a pretty wack roster, and have essentially been given the green light to sway the opinion of the front office regarding player acquisition since you got there.... at 34 years of age.

Obviously, that shít isn't going to last forever. Additionally, the Lakers are one of the two most storied franchises in the league, so they aren't going to be held hostage by a dude who only spent 7 years there towards the back half of his career.

They literally did everything Plus through the kitchen sink by drafting Bronny for LeBron

:what:

When I was working for the Lakers, it was very clear who was in charge of things. Klutch…:lolbron:

My dad was telling me a few former NBA players had to see psychiatrist after they retired because they literally did not know how to function without being the number one athlete or having fans flock all over them. I think LeBron most definitely is going to have to seek some kind of therapy because he’s never been in this type of situation where he isn’t the focus.

And LeBron, you can’t have it both ways. Wanting to be the man and at the same time complaining you don’t have help then feeling some kind of way when teams wants to move on from a 23 year veteran and pivot.
