The lakers are moving on from LeBron James after this season and LeBron feels a way. LeBron camp “Luka didn’t even want to be a laker”.

:comeon:You can go on his twitter where he was begging during superbowl weekend lol (highly disrespectful to his teammates at that time btw).

Lakers catering to themselves would be just outright signing AD without giving up a single asset which they could.
So lakers wouldn’t trade Ad to get Luka even if LeBron didn’t want it? Stop being dumb

Where did I say any of this??

I said Lakers catered to Bron, not that they are still catering to him.

We know that their plans have shifted after the Luka trade, it's well documented.
They haven’t catered to Bron in YEARS .. when they did cater to him they got a ring

Yes they drafted Bronny out of their hearts and because he was an excellent prospect

They also decided to select his podcast partner with 0 experience as a coach, just a huge coincidence
Since 2020 what have the lakers did with their picks?? They even tried to trade dalton and the shyt ain’t go thru :russ: mf acting like they did a favor like they usually keep their draft picks lmao

Lebron didn't get 2 titles until he was 28 going on 29. That's around the same age Luka will be in the 26-27 and 27-28 seasons which is why they are saving cap space to get higher quality players to build around Luka. I actually think Lebron and a Luka could work but they would need a lot of athleticism, size and shooting around them and they don't have that.

Not to mention It's not always black n white to use age comparisons for team accolades. What LeBron had in '12 and '13 would be if you gave Tatum's '24 and '25 roster to Luka. Or consider that Durant had 2 by 29... but will be 37 next season and will still have just 2.

Now in some cases, like Embiid having some horrid playoff performances in favorable title-run opportunities ('19 TOR, '22 MIA, '23 BOS) while his international peers (Giannis, Jokic, Shai) all won in the same window and age range as him, with comparable roster strength... the excuses and remaining patience is slim.

Luka at 26 tho.. i don't see him/them winnin shyt next year but never know in '27 or '28

Lakers always prioritize 2nd round picks, even go out of their way to buy them. There is no way you seriously believe they drafted Bronny not because of LeBron?:comeon:

You keep moving goal posts, they did cater to him and I said it wasn't a bad thing because he was the best player on the team. You don't have to fight this imaginary battle.

Name me the Lakers 2nd round picks the last 5 years and include what team they are currently on

You can tell the AD trade really bothers him. They didn’t tell him at all and that’s never happened in his career, he’s been the one sending friends away when he figures he can’t win with them.

He went there when they had nothing and now they won’t talk to him when making decisions so now he’s using Clutch to do some dirty work. I gotta say I see it both ways, except Bron’s always done what’s best for him and it never mattered if the teams suffered. Can’t be mad when it’s done to you.

If you were really upset you wouldn’t give the Lakers another year of selling your jersey but he did. Ride the year out and just go to Cleveland for 1 more and call it a day.
