yes, the Book of Revelation is about the Roman Empire, and even though Nero was already dead, he was believed by many to still be behind the scenes or even be resurrected as some demon (
)just like Revelation was not written by John the Baptist or John the Apostle, it was also not a prediction for the end of the world, but for destruction of rome, which had always been bad to jews and and christians (and christian jews and later, jewish christians, obviously)

ok on the second line, but as for the first: How is that any different from our freedoms here in America?
2 Timothy 3:1-5

Now alot of people will try to say that these type of things have always been going on, and to a certain extent they have. But as a whole, world wide things are much worse than they were in times past, partly because now we have the means and ability for it not to be the way it is when it comes to certain area's. Yet people are still starving, getting deathly sick and them some.
