So no story at all is better than a story that you have to actually pay attention to?

There is a story. What I mean is the suppose modern day one(which was a convuluted mess also) is basically over. It's still there in small increments but the series is basically the time period it's in. It's not like MGS at all. I don't know the big boss storyline so I feel it's pointless

Assassin creed doesn't even have a story. It's basically a historical piece game now. I just think MGS is too convuluted for their own good. Games released all out of order. If they release a definitive complete collection maybe I will cop tho

That timeline is actually very, VERY good. I'm about to print it out and keep it around as a reference. Makes you wonder if they are ever going to tell the story of the Philosophers and where the money came from to begin with. So much is left to the imagination.

I dont want another story...I feel like they gonna fukk it up. The new characters would always get compared to the originals and they would never stack up.

They need to do a game that shows Joel's story from the moment his kid got murked up until where the first game started. They got a huge gap of time to play with right there.

I agree that it doesn't NEED a sequel but the point people are trying to make is that there is definitely enough material to make another incredible game while still respecting the work that was done on the original.
Alot can be done with showing what happened between the time of Joel's daughters death and the point where the game started again. Theres also a lot that can be told about what Joel's brother went through on his own.

I know its cliche to say but the last of us has ruined a lot of games to me.

The story,the facial expressions,voice acting is just so far above 99% of games its not even funny.

Im playing dying light which is fun,but seeing all these bethesda esque npcs with dead eyes,no facial expressions,terrible voice acting and mouths that dont even sync to words is just
