I just got past the part where Abbey pulls up on Ellie, Glenn, and Tommy on some


Had Tommy laying face down like a broad and popped glenn right in his shyt

then the game gives us its 100th flashback this choppy ass story telling style is not for me. This gameplay is some of the best ive experienced on PS4 but this story is starting to lose me a bit.

Great Game 9/10.

The hate is unwarranted. I'm not entertaining people with weak arguments about Joel's character dying. Or weak arguments about how the game ended.

I went into this knowing about Joel's death, but not much about anything else.

I loved the concurrent story telling in this game. I enjoyed how ND made me feel empathy for Abbys after playing her arch

The flashbacks were a bit much, but they served a purpose for the plot.

The gameplay itself was intense.

The graphics were gorgeous.

Great Game, personally up there with RDR2.

Can you name ten story driven games from this current gen that has a better story in your honest opinion?

Of those ten games. Which ones have better gameplay than TLOU2?

Bonus questions* What all does part 1 do better than part 2? If this was a standalone game, and part 1 didn't exist. Do you think the reviews would be different in general (better, worse, or the same)? Would your personal review be different?

Love or hate the game. I love to have discussions about it. It's so decisive, and both sides have some interesting/valid points. Whether we all agree with each other or not.

Man, Joel is like Dollars Clint Eastwood to these mufukkas. He was a terrible guy who tried to make up for it later in life and got got. He probably should have died a little later or had a gameplay section but damn

Reviewers giving this below a 7 are super corny. It's a game where the animations, visuals, and even gameplay are as good as it gets. If you don't like the story fine, it has issues but that ususally never tanks these things because like it or not there's no game on the level of top tier movies or books. That Citizen Kain of gaming thing for the last game was supposed to be a joke

Fan reviews have been overwhelmingly negative across the board...Yall that love the game trying to dismiss that reality by claiming 4 dudes are just spamming review sites...

That's all I've seen from the love it crowd, illogical juelzing to dismiss legitimate complaints...

Ive now seen both Magnus and Angry Jose get dismissed as haters in this thread...Two dudes that are on record being huge fans of the first game...

It goes to show you how absurd the minority that love this game is...

Me and my girl got into a debate about this shyt last night. She is loving the game and thinks its better than the first. Im just on it so far. The gameplay is definitely some of the best ive experienced and the graphics are insane. But the story isnt as good as Ive come to expect from Naughty Dog. Mafia 3 handled the revenge murder plot story line alot better in my opinion. If only Mafia 3 could’ve had this type of gameplay

I wrote a lot in the last post. That's my fault

Somewhere in my long ass written ranti wrote "I don't even think he has his own opinion on the game. He's (again) just going with the hate crowd".

I'm telling you if the leaks dropped like it did (or didn't, it doesn't matter really), and his subscribers, and others YouTubers loved it. His tone on the game would've been different, and if not he wouldn't have been as vocally negative for 95% of the review.

"The things he say in his review were clearly on point & can’t be denied" Not everything he said was on point though. What can't be denied? His opinions? The game has it's problems like pacing/Abby's section being too long. Some decisions may be questionable. But a 6/10 bro?

where are you getting this from and how can you prove that ?

well I’ll use one example of his observation of ND trying to make the player ... dislike Ellie while liking Abby
he use the example of dogs and had several cut footage is of Ellie having to beat dogs... shoot dogs... stab dogs.... so she can survive
then he went to footage of Abby hugging dogs... petting dogs... playing with dogs....

which was an excellent observation on his part because dogs supposedly are man’s best friend and having one character kill them for survival while the other nurture them for comfort only means ND had an agenda

I never claimed anyone was spamming . Both sides probably is spamming though Edit: Just checked Metacritic. Yup, they are But come on bro, click "See all 58922 User Reviews" . Look how many zeros, and ones there are. Are you saying a majority of those zeros and ones are legit, reasonable scores? Cause most people i know wouldn't give a game that score unless the game is BROKEN, or UNPLAYABLE.I give the game a 9.5. NO game is perfect to me. Not saying most of the 100's are real. But i would believe a 100 score way before i'd believe a 0, or 1 scoreEven if the complaints are legit, and the review is well written. Why review that low?


That's all I've seen from the love it crowd, illogical juelzing to dismiss legitimate complaints... I can't speak for others but legitimate complaints from the "hate crowd" is cool It's when the "hate crowd" act like there's damn near nothing about the game that's good.
