wacked Joel and dipped
then throughout the season its unraveled what their motivations were
it would have hit so much harder
than this spoonfeeding the audience shyt they did

It would've made people even more mad because that'd strip Abby of what little character she had up to this point.

Ideally, the story would've been completely restructured. This is a TV show, they could've mixed Ellie and Abby's stories a bit more to have more context going on.

I'm sure they'll dive deeper into everything that's going on in Seattle on season 3, but by now it's way too late. Season 2 barely had anything going on because you could even argue the Wolves don't know Ellie is around. As soon as she rushed Nora at the hospital, both ran into a basement full of spores, so they're both dead for all they know.

That was my complaint with the game too. The game made you play as Ellie up to where the show ended in the theater with the big confrontation with everyone, then it switched to Abby going through what she went through at the same time leading up to that moment. It would've been better if they spliced it together. In terms of the game, I understand why they did it like they did it because of the difficulties with the two characters and how they play differently (Ellie more stealth and Abby more brute force fighting). But in terms of the show, there was absolutely no reason not to do it.

It’s also funny seeing people that have been straight shytting on the game for 5 years pretend they are dissappointed in the show for not being as good as the game. for years i had to hear about how unrealistic it was for Abby to have muscles now nikkas can’t stop complainging about her not having muscles in the show.

I hated them killing Joel for a random npc but I seen that spoiler way before the game dropped anyway. But to keep it 100 if a random npc from WLF killed Ellie for the third game it would be outrage there too so don’t act like that shyt wasn’t justified to some degree.

My main issue is the uncharted movie was trash. This show is mid and we ain’t got a new game in like 6 years. But Niel made it seem like this is why we got wait for a new game That’s cool and all but the only reason they are even in the position to make this show is because uncharted and tlou that new game doesn’t even got me hyped at all (yet). These fukkers ain’t even got the decency to put out a MP but yet done dropped like 3 mid shows/ movies. They could’ve at least fleshed this season out to 10 episodes and stopped right at the part it’s about to go.

I agree, but we already know they fukked up on the multiplayer, we would have probably gotten one extra game this gen instead of that if they never went all in with it.

I also think the scrapped multiplayer will probably be broken down for parts and speed up the devleopment of the next game after intergalactic

Uhh, yeah they should have just made this season 14 episodes.

Could have done what The Walking Dead used to do…break the season up into halfs and release 6 months apart or some shyt.

Part of the problem with s hating on the story is y'all couldn't stay in code. You got 2 contingents of folks shìtting on the story: the ones calling it too simple vs. others who call it too complicated. Additionally, both sides subscribed to the 'TOO WOKE' narrative because of reasons you stated.

These same folks will play ungabunga ass Doom 3 times in 9 years and call them great games, but openly shyt on something with far superior gameplay and story elements. Y'all not slick whoadie

Yea I'm realizing that a lot of the action in the game isn't lending it self to being easily replicated for the show and Mazin doesn't understand the characters, so Abby's section might be horribly butchered.
