Who cares lol
Your viewpoint is much appreciated..I planned on quitting awhile back but stayed on because it's seldom one get opportunities to serve a few lessons to those who wronged you. Some of these lessons was handed to cops, Latino ICE agents, privileged cacs and a few NY knuckleheads. I figure these people need to see a brother stand for something vs being a Terry Crews. The urge to royally snap is strong in me but I haven't got there as yet. The day I do it should be news worthy
Who cares lol
Only true for the Northeast. The South runs Hip Hop and the majority of Southern hip hop artists are Black. Latino Trap is irrelevant outside of Latin communities.I remember a few NY nikkas talkin about how the souths rise alienated NY Latinos from Hip Hop many years ago because they don't have a connection to the south. West Indians don't either but they still black at the end of the day so we connect off of that alone. It seems latinos have caught on to Trap though now obviously.
Man I miss the old days when Hip Hop was still black. You only saw black faces in the videos, beautiful. Now a days shyt look like a rainbow all types of races in the videos. shyt corny as fukk. Back in the day you only saw cacs in rap videos as props and comedic relief, running jokes. A white family lost on vacation might stumble into a black club and end up dancing throughout the video or some old out of place white man would be dancing in a few scenes. Now they in the videos like they was born and raised in this shyt. These days it be they video. shyt is done. Hip Hop is bout to be rock n roll status.

When I was in Medellin I heard them listen to MORE American Trap and even Dancehall compared to Latin Trap.lol.Latin trap is more similar to reggaeton than American hip hop anyway
No.Black people let it happen tbh
Lets be honest, 50 Cent killed NY Hip Hop

Nah. It's more cuz of NY rappers copying the south breh. Them beats they rapping on ain'tNY. Them rhyme patterns ain't NY that singing bs aint NY. It suits the south. Not NY
Isolated it ? Yes
Killed it? Absolutely not.
To cite his dumbing down of lyrics is foolish
All but two times in NYC rap history has the top rapper been all about the lyrical content (Nas & Rakim).
