I'm not sure you can call what Lue is doing a 'rotation'
You're right: for a reason nobody will ever understand.. he put in J.R. Smith when they needed buckets most...

It makes total sense. Teams commonly include their franchise cornerstones in decision making.
LeBron has a very strong pull in the moves that are made in Cleveland. Year in, year out.
The roster and team that is in Cleveland, it's not what he was simply "given." He helped craft and handpick the "talent" on this Cavs squad. Even the coaching change in 16.
Now they're old, unathletic, not making shots, and title window closed.
This is what happens when a player has so much say in roster construction and puppet head coach placement. Guys like Kerr and Stevens run circles around this clown Lue.
But ya, "it simply doesn't make sense."

Oladipo?
How..?
2 games in, 56 minutes and 4 points.JR played 27 minutes and had 0 points, Jesus christ

I also wonder how much a fan LeBron is of Embiid's personality.. some people like Skip Bayless say 'he could become the best player in the NBA' but those people need clicks to eat and ignore the key thing you already mentioned: injury prone. Simmons has potential but not when it matters (which is fine for a young player) but LeBron wants to catch up to MJ, not be MJ on the Wizards.I think the chemistry with lebron and cp3 will happen quicker than expected. Idk about harden but I think lebron off ball and his influence will be enough to help cp3 change that style of play. To some extend same with harden. I believe more ball movement will be come of that team and very less of ISOs.As for the sixers, Embiid has too many health concerns and Bron been down that road. Granted CP3 is worrying but he’s more proven. Embiid came into even these playoffs with a injury. Ben Simmons has no jumper and probably won’t have one next season or a reliable one. I don’t think lebron has time for them to grow.

LeBron in motion and not too many ISO could be very interesting. I always felt like they had a way better system for LeBron to fit in in Miami with Spoel vs what they're doing in Cleveland, it's pure ISO basketball and high pick and rolls (thanks to his amazing passing it works sometimes).. not optimal

Korver. The only alternative to J.R. he needs because he's actually working to get free of the picks and shoots a more than acceptable FG% and isn't scared at all.. He's proven valuable, why go back to J.R. who has been completely invisible this series? What don’t y’all get about him not having a choice? What were is alternatives?
