Don't know which way works unless they do Hangman at All In and then give Ospreay the home victory at FD. Of course that makes Hangman a transitional champ. Unless Oapreay goes into FD as champ. Ospreay seems to be the face, think Hangman could play both sides. I doubt Mox survives thru the summer as champ.

I also don't see anything past Forbidden Door. Maybe All Out in September unless they get rid of it and just have WrestleDream in early October?

Given the theme of the show, does Ospreay challenging for the title in any way at FD make sense?

No. Mox needs to drop that title sooner rather than later. I could see a scenario where Hangman gets screwed during the finals and either gets a match with Ospreay at FD or possibly with whoever screwed him at DoN.

The interesting thing is anyone could potentially "screw" Hangman in the match. Young Bucks, Swerve, MJF, Okada, Kyle Fletcher/Don Callis Family. There's so much interesting dynamics going into the match. On the other hand, Hangman could also lose clean & roll that into a feud with MJF given their backstage promo a week or so back where MJF called him a notorious choker. If he's involved with MJF in a feud, that could lead into something with the Hurt Syndicate too.

Hangmayne truly is the main character of AEW :banderas:

One person who you didn't mention that could be a quickie feud is Jack Perry. They've never had a one on on match and Perry hasn't come back yet to aid the Elite.

Moxley is losing the title at All In to Hangman :pachaha:

I'm saying, I don't even understand why y'all are assuming Ospreay would even be challenging for the title at FD, forget All In. The point of FD is the big guys in interpromotional matches, and for a lot of reasons one of them being political, Ospreay/ZSJ seems obvious.

Serious question, who would you put over in the Owen finals... Ospreay or Hangman? Ospreay has had his shot at the title brewing for so long, but Hangman is red hot right now. I don't think anyone would be mad at whatever outcome of this match is too.

Hangman is my guy, but I think you have to pull the trigger on Ospreay. Hangman deserves another title run soon especially since the first one got the legs cut out from underneath it.

Hangman for me right now. Ospreay's going to be tough to shift once he gets it - can give a few people some interesting runs before that happens. :manny:

Someone was saying how MJF could possibly hurt Hangman and cost him the finals to get in the HS. Another guy said that was too far away. I did maybe MJF hurts a random employee and then Bobby like I'm not impressed, followed by a jobber or two or low card guy until MJF thinks that he's gotta go big with the beatdown and uses it on Hangman to impress Bobby. That's a way I can see them tieing in the HS stuff with Hangman losing the final and keep that story going until the ppv about MJF needing to prove himself.

I do like the Ospreay vs ZSJ match at FD door. Tho I do think last year it was Ospreay vs Swerve for the title so not an outsider challenging for it. Could go either way this year. Don't know who could challenge for it from outside other than maybe ZSJ since it's in their home country.

Lot of ways they can go with the next champ and challengers. They could be planting seeds now for future storylines that remain to be seen.
