The reason AEW is doing well right now is because the shows are very watchable from beginning to end. The women are doing a lot of the heavy lifting as well.

Read the tweet. It’s pointing out the quarter rating and it’s only counting the Max era.

Can't really argue for or against ratings since MAX doesn't release numbers. But odds are they could be seeing over 750k if they have a decent amount of streamers. Not like other shows are faring well themselves of course that could be attributed to channel changes.

Speaking of other shows and Ospreay since I saw he was mentioned, that running from the grind comment practically null and void now. With WWE cutting back even more on house shows, don't know what grind he was gonna do. Fly in to the city in the morning, wrestle in evening, and fly back to London the next morning, then stay home until the next week? Don't know what grind they doing now.

Speaking of which, be crazy if TKO tells motherfukkers, before you used to work 3 or 4 times a week but now we only need you one day so we only giving you 25% or 33% of the pay with their saving money asses.

Dude has absolutely no care for anything but what draws eyes to Max, he will kill Looney Tunes and shelve Keaton Batman return movies for tax write offs, he okays deleting hundreds of hours of content with 1 day warning even on popular shows. If shyt ain't drawing significant numbers, it gets booted from Max real quick.

A great AEW show is about as good as it gets for wrestling because it is the best of pretty much from the 40s/50s through the territories era, but also peak ECW, and Attitude Era, and puro, and lucha, and and and. 90% of AEW is exactly how I'd book a TEW save and that it actually exists on TV in that form is delightful.

He’s got more of a grind now than he would in WWE.

Now he goes back and forth between USA and England virtually every week and works with EVE and RevPro behind the scenes on the weekends while doing regular media appearances.

In WWE he’d be working one show a week with an occasional appearance at a media event, fan event, or house show.
