Here's the thing, if AEW was doing bad on Max, Zaslav would drop it immediately. Dude has absolutely no care for anything but what draws eyes to Max, he will kill Looney Tunes and shelve Keaton Batman return movies for tax write offs, he okays deleting hundreds of hours of content with 1 day warning even on popular shows. If shyt ain't drawing significant numbers, it gets booted from Max real quick.
and if they’d be doing great they would have boasted about AEW’s numbers in a press release and tony khan would be tweeting about it every day. but there’s been nothing.

ok.. there was that “report” from some random guy who also happens to post on the observer message board that claimed AEW was attracting hundreds of thousands of viewers on max with absolutely no proof other than his own twisted numerical mental gymnastics :mjlol: and when one of the marks asked tony khan about it he said “uhh yeah that’s kind of what i’ve been hearing as well :ld:

let’s also just completely ignore max’s numbers have been declining so rapidly that they’re rebranding themselves for the 10th time in an attempt to stop the bleeding.

Like AEW’s ratings and attendance, HBO Max subscriptions are also up

Seems like TK has been somewhat more humble lately & not going too crazy with any bragging so I could see him not making a big deal about any ratings. But even still one must question what are great numbers compared to decent ones. They can easily be doing over 750k with tv and streaming, but is that something to celebrate? Even on the flipside, tho SD went down going from Fox to USA, think they average around 1.5M now. But I don't see much celebration from them or even when on Fox. Only celebrating I would see is Triple H after every PLE dating how it's the highest growing event ever. Cuz even tho they might have had the same or similar number of fans attending from the last one, the increase in ticket cost got them a higher revenue.

It's rare for wrestling to beat live sports especially the playoffs, and i think some of those numbers have been down thru out the season. Maybe if these were NFL type ratings then it be worth celebrating. But I see no need to get excited and just stay focused on doing the show.

“500k on max alone” yet still averaging 2.5k people in attendance per show and relegated to bingo halls

For his sake, hopefully he's paying someone to handle his social media 95% of the time so he doesn't look like a goof.

As far as the streaming numbers, I've said it before, but the streaming companies cook the books so any specific numbers that are put out there I'd take with a grain of salt. The numbers that are shared with the public would probably have about 4-5 different asterisks about what they specifically are measuring.

AEW is making $185 million a year off the TV deals alone Piffy Boy. The on-screen product is improving and these smaller venues are putting on a better presentation on TV than half-empty arenas they were booking since it is, you know, a fukking weekly television show.

I know you and the Stooge World Order are starting to feel the heat, but coming into an AEW thread to act like a jackass is a desperate plea for attention.
