What is Tony supposed to do if she wants to go to WWE ? I'm sure he made her a great financial offer but if she turned it down there's not much else to do to keep her.
She had the greatest storyline & match in the women’s division in AEW history with Tony

You’re supposed to do everything in your power to keep talent like

Young talent even more so

Tony is a complete moron where she now going to walk into WWE & be bigger than she was in AEW instead of keeping her as one of the biggest talents in AEW’s Women’s Division

He offered a huge contract to Jade and she still turned him down.

If you're an international wrestler (minus Japan) WWE will be the end game for you because that's what people saw while other promotions didn't get burn like that. If you're an American wrestler same scenario plus the added caveat of more avenues opening up.

Not to mention WWE has been the only show in town from 01 to 2019 thus something like what I said above happening. That illusion won't change until the 2030's if AEW is around by then when the kids who grew up during the infancy of AEW get older.

Eh, honestly most wrestlers nowadays are using AEW as a resume builder to WWE sadly. While the Mariah situation seems a bit vague and weird because of some behind the scenes things. Bottom line, I hate this whole concept of the "wrestling dream" of going to a juggernaut promotion, start off in NXXXT, get over, go to the big league Maggle, don't get over and the vague Twitter wrestling emo babble, and then its off to the endeavors :francis: .

If I was a wrestler (heaven help me), I would just be on my Slim Charles and wait for the end results. Not post corny ass tweets and be sighing in catering because my furry black ass wanted to jump to the big leagues Maggle, without checking my own self worth.
They already gave NXT to her on a sliver platter calling up Stephanie & Jordynne

What's gonna have to happen is that AEW needs to be smart with their women because I would say that WWE is signing more women than men.

Not to mention that NXT pretty much needs a refresh with their women's division.

While y'all pissing and shytting on each other...

"Fumble" or "she wasn't good to begin with"

Don't think it's either. Typecasting is the right word, but rebuilding her into a credible threat after her story arc in AEW would have taken some time. The storyline was lightning in a bottle, and I don't think Snowman/whoever he bounces ideas off of had a great idea as far as how to rebuild Mariah after that final match and that happened to have coincided with her contract nearing its end.

The only way that can happen to avoid trips wrath is creating a all women's side promotion or show at least.

Sort of like STARDOM but in the western side. I have been dying for a all women promotion outside of Joshi.

  1. WoW is mid
  2. Pro Wrestling Eve fell off (UK based)
  3. Wwe Evolution is once in a blue moon

They can do a yearly Forbidden Door Evolution show with themselves, RoH, STARDOM, CMLL, and any other lower women's/wrestling promotion.

Not to mention you have folk like Scot D'amore and Gail Kim who would be treasures to a women's division.

And if you're AEW you have this golden chance to get as much notoriety as possible due to WWE being more focused on money, damn everything else.

Happens like clockwork: Talent changes companies and gains a fan base that didn't fucck with them prior and loses a chunk of the fans they had that were more attached to the brand than the Talent.

The minority are those who are just fans of the person regardless of who's signing the check.

It’s the “But they wanted to leave” argument :beli:
