Sidenote, just to get in our ricochet bag, do any of yall have horror stories from ya old jobs?

I remember back when I was working at urban outfitters, fresh outta high school.. mfs scheduled me for a closing shift with an opening shift the next morning, mind you it was the summer and we closed at 11:00pm. At the time I lived over an hour away and I was bussing it to work because again, I was fresh outta high school. First job type shyt. So the stores wrecked this night, it ends up taking like an hour just for the remaining customers to leave.. by the time we finish closing the store it’s 3AM.. my opening shifts at 5am because that’s the time shipment arrives, and I live an hour away so going home doesn’t make sense.. long story short, I sat outside for 2 hours until the opening team arrived and worked another shift. Didn’t realize this was highly illegal until years later. They ended up getting sued for pulling shyt like this and i got a big ass class action settlement lol

fukk that place lol

I was a free-phone AOL support tech for 6 months in 2000/2001 during the cheap PCs with Windows Millennium Edition wave... I'm still working through it.:to:

Edit: I left with the same opinions as Ricochet tbh. Turned out the most popular ISP definitely was not the best ISP. :pachaha:

With just about anything in the world, the most popular stuff is often the most watered down so it can appeal to a broader range of people.

This was just a month ago and the splitting of the companies has been known since December

As per Andrew Zarian of "Fightful Wrestling's Beyond The Bell" podcast, the higher-ups in WBD are seemingly happy with the ratings that AEW's shows are bringing in, and the criticism that AEW faces online regarding the ratings doesn't matter to them.

"I've been hearing very positive stuff from WBD. I brought up the ratings and the internet chatter to them, and they're like, they don't care. It doesn't even resonate. The messaging on the internet's not even resonating with these people and they're in key positions there," said Zarian.

It's funny to me how Zaslav is basically one of the worst execs of this century but he's been the patron saint for the wrestling business with the way he's backed AEW since its inception and keeping a big, viable n°2 national promotion running :pachaha:
How long are dynamite & collision locked in for?
I think the only one that gave a number for the length of the deal was Meltzer, who said it was a 3 year deal with a 4th year option. So if the split is slated to happen in mid 2026, that's halfway through the current AEW TV deal.

Warner is always taking rash decisions so who knows what's gonna happen 12 months from now on that front, but the safest route would be them letting AEW's deal run out and then see if they are worth upping for a 4th one (while TK looks for other options) :manny:

Zaslav didn’t take over until the WB and Discovery merger completed in the Spring of 2022.

Mercedes Mone didn’t just win another title in Europe—she lit up business for the promotions she touched.

The AEW TBS Champion made headlines this weekend after a surprise appearance at Pratercatchen in Vienna, Austria, where she defeated Lexa Valo and Mila Smidt to capture the EWA Women’s Championship. But the real story might be what happened next.

According to Fightful Select, Mone’s European presence has had a real impact—especially for RevPro, where she previously appeared at High Stakes. One source confirmed that her involvement led to an immediate spike in viewership on RevPro’s streaming platform.

“One source pointed out the uptick in RevProOnDemand numbers following Mone’s appearance at RevPro High Stakes, stating that it would be a ‘no brainer’ for any independent promotion in Europe to book Mone should she be willing to appear,” the report stated.

The surge in RevPro’s numbers is a clear sign that Mone brings more than star power—she brings clicks, views, and attention from a global audience.

@Norrin Radd Safe to say this won't be posted elsewhere? :troll:
