They need to sort the TV situation out here somehow. If you watch on ITV you're always so far behind you can basically never read the Internet. It's great that it's available but the scheduling is shyt.

Triller is great, but it costs more than Netflix for a whole lot less content.

I don't know what the rest of the content on Max is, especially over here with licenses resold to other broadcasters for HBO stuff already, but if it's halfway good they could easily scoop some of that Triller money.

And especially if the rumours about Triller circling the drain are true we're gonna need something to replace it.
How much does AEW+ cost now??

Actually, a bit less than I thought - £7.99/month but to that's just getting you Dynamite and Collision and a handful of older PPVs.

You get a 20% discount on PPVs but it all still feels pretty expensive coming off a WWE Network subscription.

For comparison Netflix with Ads is £5.99, standard is £12.99.

Wait, is standard the 4k one or that's different?

You need Premium for that - £18.99 :beli:

I think it might be a few bucks cheaper from the conversion but not sure if content the same. I know it varies thru out the world. Also not sure if UK grouped in with Europe for their content. I feel like it's all the same cuz shyt like Squid Game out of Korea and there are other shows in original languages not English like Spain and other countries. Of course they prolly charge more here cuz Trump prolly put a tariff on all content even streaming that comes from other countries, knowing how his dumbass prolly works or netflix greedy asses.

Nearly at least years total with about two months to go. All those cheap upper deck seats should fly as the event gets closer. Plus it's not like they have any matches announced either. Easily gonna get past 10k, prolly even a chance to beat the previous venue total, especially if they do Cope and Christian vs FTR. Don't think too many of the ppv have gotten over 10k and they gonna hit that here plus the great numbers from London. They need to have a highly successful event on both shows for those attending.

AEW going out of business tho since they're in an arena that only seats 1200 for the next couple weeks

I think it's interesting that people are talking about Hangman winning the title as if it's his first time :jbhmm:

So either we're trying to erase the memories of his 1st (horrible) title run :scust:

Or it's a sign of AEW's growth :ehh:

HBO Max brought a whole new audience and the decision of the year (last year) was to expect this and essentially reset AEW on that first ep.

I've said it before, but if you watch the first ep in Max, iirc right after a big promo essentially introducing Moxs character, that he's the champ, and sort of setting out a challenge that there was no one that could stop him, the very next thing was a cut to Hangman entering for a match.

AEW did a very very good job with Hangman this year. Since day one just about every thing he's done has been very intentional. A lot of storytelling cues for new viewers that he's the One. But at the same time, not presenting him as "Hey this guy is a Big Deal and you should treat him as such" (MJF, Swerve), there has been a clear intention to make new viewers feel like they're seeing an ascendancy as much as continuing viewers feeling like they're watching a comeback.

Hangman's work this year doesn't need any qualifiers or exemptions. One of the best runs of all time.

The fact that casual viewers were all in for him v Mox all year but internet nerds were confused by this storyline until DON is very funny btw. The clearest example of how the IWC has worked itself into satire and how WWE storytelling has made so many of us toxic. Everything is something else, and nothing is going to make you happy.

That picture is from his first AEW title run. You can see Dark Order in the background. I'm guessing that tweet is old especially since he's been removed from being a teacher for a long time now.
