Someone on the Fightful Discord asked SRS if Jericho’s contract expires end of this year (which it will if no time is added) where does he think Jericho ends up next and he said WWE for Mania and Rumble season for a short farewell tour :whoo:
I don’t see it. HHH was never the biggest Jericho or Edge fan which is why Edge left.

Im surprised at Jericho though, You would think he would try to force himself into some top drawing programs/angles knowing its a contract year if true.

God I hope so. The turn up in quality in AEW happened immediately as Jericho left this last time and I refuse to believe that's a coincidence.

I think Snowman would pay the money to give Jericho the retirement match he's looking for versus what WWE would book for him. For comparison purposes Jericho now is the same age Hoegan was when he faced Randy Orton at Summerslam 2006.

At least it sounds like Colten won’t be out long

Colten Gunn sustained an injury shortly after his return, and it's looking like he might need more time.
Fightful Select has learned that Gunn was originally planned for the tag team eliminator tournament. However, due to his injury, it's not looking like he will end up being able to make it. While the teams weren't publicly announced, the Gunns were planned, and AEW will have to adjust.
We're told AEW wanted to give Gunn the opportunity to be ready, but it's not looking like it will happen.

shyt surprised Takeshyta isn't getting his ass in there, too. 2026 he's going to be in the G1, the N1, the Grand Prix, the Champion Carnival, and the Continental Classic. I assume DDT also has their round robin tournament and Takeshyta has probably been in and won multiple.

No matter what TK pays him. He's still going to try and get his WWE final run of at least a Rumble, Mania match/angle and his HoF induction.
