Some more news from today's WON issue:
They will definitely keep doing the 'Forbidden Door' concept even though NJPW isn't holding up their end right now. The card is looking great despite the lack of NJPW talent. Need to get more CMLL and STARDOM wrestlers on the shows.

I like JetSpeed, but I could see why MVP wouldn't wanna put them over.
They're just a makeshift tag team that was put together because... wait for it... creative had nothing for them. And to their credit, they've made it work. But they're not gonna be staples of the tag team division. And they're not stars like Swerve and Ospreay (who were reportedly the original choice to face The Hurt Syndicate at FD). Then add in the fact that they're on the smaller side. I think MVP might have factored in all this and said it doesn't make sense to lose to them
It was a 3 way they easily could have done it. The only logical finish to that match was Kevin Knight pinning Lashley to have something to build towards. He was the only future main eventer in that match so it was common sense. Speedball could cost them at FD against FTR then you have your transition. MVP having a list of teams to drop the belts to being teams they already destroyed says what type of time they’re on
Especially Lashley. Tony should be using him like Lesnar. Him losing (or even going 50/50) should mean something.

If Lashley didn’t wanna lay down for Swerve and do for him what Brock did for Cody, then it’s clear he’d head back to WWE before he start giving back. I’d personally get the belts and send them to Levesque now. Good luck

I wonder if Lashley wanted to speed up a potential singles run. I wouldn't be surprised if he retires after his AEW contract is up.

With everything going on in WWE, I think it’s a telling sign AEW had some new/returning eyes this week. If they can sustain them is yet to be seen.
