Thinking about it. Feel like it would be smart for WWE wrestlers when signing contracts to try and negotiate for lifetime royalty cuts from merch if they do end up going somewhere else. Like i don't know if it works like this in the music industry for example but if you make an album with one record label then sign with another, i still think you get paid royalties from the first one. Or even sports tho might be different. Not sure if athletes even get a cut of jersey sales, maybe the major stars do.
