The afternoon slot for college football that day kind of weak. Florida/Miami probably playing at prime time so that's what I'm probably checking for once All Out is done after a 6 hour PPV :manny: I can watch AJ Lee's limited in ring time on twitter

I been out the loop with CFB in recent times. That's a marquee matchup tho. Not a bad choice of viewing. I know I watched some of the season when the turnover chain first started, a few years back i think, but mainly been on NFL. May have to check some college out this season.

Can always watch wwe at any time, especially now that we gotta illegally stream it.

I don't think the majority of AEW fans who are likely to buy All Out really care about what WWE is doing.

This is true and @Silkk didn't point out (why would he lol) that the earlier start times have proven to gain more PPV buys from the UK and rest of Europe.

People in the U.S. seem to like the earlier times and with how hot AEW is in Europe it makes sense.

Also, HBO Max is now added to the mix and will be $10 cheaper than Amazon/YouTube

At least $20 off or half off. You have to subscribe to HBO to even get the $10 discount. I'll still pay because its cheaper then Prime but they could have done a better discount.

I hear you but if you take off too much then AEW would be having to pay WBD and getting a lot less revenue in return. I could see maybe $5 more but beyond that I don't think it'd make sense for them.

Plus, this gives Amazon the opportunity to give customers a $10 credit and things like that

Why would anyone want AEW to go head to head with WWE in their first ESPN show that's gonna get a huge boost by sheer promotion and hype (like the Netflix debut) :dahell: there was no question AEW was going to lose that fight. Unless of course you just wanted AEW to get an L and troll away :pachaha:

They did the smart thing, go earlier so lose less PPV buys by avoiding going head to head (plus college football's prime time game) and they finally get the HBO Max PPV deal so promote it. Now they have a much better chance to avoid getting the lowest PPV number in their history. And considering the show will have 10-12k in attendance, it's gonna be a good money maker :ehh:

Looking at the CFB schedule these are the games of significance atm...

Texas Tech v Utah
TCU v SMU
OU v Auburn
Miami v Florida
Purdue v Notre Dame
Michigan v Nebraska

All except for Notre Dame v Purdue, TCU v SMU and Miami v Florida the other games should be night games.

Since the UK and Europe have been supporting AEW a lot... it's also a lot easier to get people in the states to buy a show in the afternoon than to get people in Europe to buy it at 1am

Sure, but let's not act like this call was because of that. It's just an added perk/positive of the move.

I'd love for all these PPVs to be earlier though, I've never understood why they ran so fukking late and until recently, on a fukking Sunday :dead:
