With Mina coming in and Thekla interested in AEW, there’s no need to sign any of the recent releases, but I feel like 1 or 2 might get contracts. Who would you guys pick?
In terms of character and personality, Shotzi and PK would fit in easily. But they’re average in the ring.
Shayna has the ring work but lacks a personality. She could be the bad ass heel if the booking is right, but there’s much talent on the roster that don’t need to be fed to her, especially since they’re building Bayne. She might end up lost in the roster.
Never cared for Kai and Jakara is still fresh compared to the rest.
I’d go with PK and Shotzi. They can be even morein AEW and i don’t think their W-L record would matter much because they would be over with the crowd already. PK might just end up in TNA to be with her man, tho.
I’m interested in seeing what Shayna would do, but the timing doesn’t feel right for someone with her skill and how deep the women’s roster is.
Shayna is honestly so BCC/DR coded it's kinda wild to me she hadn't jumped ship already. Obviously her and Marina are ready-made, but the other horsewomen are available for a one-off too. She could also do good numbers in Japan though.
Jakara I've not watched but the package someone posted of her makes me think she's worth a proving ground match in ROH to see if she can go at the level Athena has set for all the porcelain hussies over there.
Anyone else, I only really see it if TK adds a tag division. If you do that then grab Kayden/Katana, Dakota and maybe Shotzi... I can't see anyone but Shayna being any sort of threat to either singles belt honestly.
