I don't know if they should introduce women's tag titles just yet, especially seeing the clusterfukk that the WWE ones have been. Even the men's titles have been put on the back burner in recent times while the division gets built up multiple times. And that division has more material to use.

I know they have TayJay and likely other unofficial pairings they can use, but I want to see more tag teams being established so they can have a strong division first. Not to introduce the tag titles & have random women teaming up cuz they need challengers while rest of the division is lacking in the singles side.

Like you can use the excuse of Bailey & Knight being singles guys put together on men side but the men have more depth that it's ok. Not so much with the women.

After All In if Toni retains, they need to build up some tag teams but also keep a couple of women for each title to create feuds for those. They gonna have to bring in some ROH talent to help.

If AEW were to ever introduce their women's tag team titles, which made the news recently even though they've had the belts for over a year, who would your 8 teams be for a tag team tournament to crown the champions?

My picks...
  1. Toni Storm and Mina
  2. TayJay
  3. Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford
  4. Athena and Billie Starkz
  5. Kris Statlander and Marina Shafir (given current story)
  6. Julia Hart and Skye Blue
  7. Mercedes Mone and Harley Cameron
  8. Willow Nightingale and Yuka Sakazaki

I've seen Yuka less than Rhio :skip:in AEW. Maybe Deonna/Taya or Queen Aminata/Deeb. Britt Baker/Jamie Hayter reunion :lolbron:

I had a method to my madness there because they actually are a bit similar - sunny, upbeat, positive personalities with music that matches, very easy to like, and they are killers in the ring.
Ah, I could maybe see them doing a tournament post All In sometime. Or figuring out the TBS title, no matter who wins.

It's a shame the timing prevented Storm vs. May 2 from being included. The Toni Storm fukkery for that interview :banderas:
