[SunSport] Bryan Danielson speaks on the differences in how he looks at main eventing AEW All In: London versus WWE WrestleMania XXX.

“What meant the most to me about that match (at AEW All In) was my family being there. My kids got to see me wrestle, my daughter was old enough to be able to remember it for the rest of her life. The idea of, you know, now I’m just essentially a dad — my daughter will remember this thing of 50,000 people at Wembley Stadium where her dad was cool.

I main evented WrestleMania XXX with WWE, and honestly, it doesn’t mean that much to me. My sister and my niece got to come into the ring, but I was about to marry my wife the following Friday, and they wouldn’t let her come down to the ring. They didn’t want her to be in the thing. And on top of that, it wasn’t just that — it was, like, I was going through a ton of neck pain and all these other things. So these things that seem like cool moments to a viewer — there’s all this other stuff going on in a wrestler’s life or a performer’s life that could make that moment not as valuable to them as it is to the people viewing it.”

shyt surprised Takeshyta isn't getting his ass in there, too. 2026 he's going to be in the G1, the N1, the Grand Prix, the Champion Carnival, and the Continental Classic. I assume DDT also has their round robin tournament and Takeshyta has probably been in and won multiple.

Send him to all the tourneys, give him all the trophies and then bring him back for that Best Tournament Wrestler Alive programme with him and Okada in the C2 final. :wow:

Right assumption, he's the only 2 time D-Oh Gran Prix winner in DDT history :wow:

As far as future guys go, the only one I'm sold on now as being a huge deal for NJ in the future and I'm telling all the brehs to get on his wave; Konosuke Takeshyta. Kids only 19, been a pro for two years, still tons to learn and rough around the edges, but is SILLY good for his age. And, importantly, size. He's 6'2" (lanky as fukk now but again, 19) and works that sort of athletic style that Okada and Tana do, not a jr at all. As much as someone can have "it" while still being a teenage, kid has it.

He does THE fukkING BEST German in the game right. But my favorite thing about him?

His FIRST MATCH EVER was at the huge Sumo Hall 2012 DDT show...and it was a ten minute match with Generico. It's up on dailymotion. Again, FIRST match ever, kid is 16 in it, and he has a solid 10 minute match on a huge show. Of course, Generico carries him, but what a fukking way to start. Since Generico left? He's copped the Helluva Kick and the Blue Thunder Bomb and does them EXACTLY like Generico did. He even has a sweet Hero-esque elbow as his big strike late in matches, and a beautiful jumping ace crusher as well.

Right now he's mostly in a team with another young dude, Testsuya Endo, as the team Happy Motel. They won the belts off of Golden Lovers as a passing of the torch moment last fall (match is really good).

What really makes me think Kono is a future NJ signing? They sent Tanahashi to face him at the 2014 Sumo Hall show, and with the working relationship DDT and NJ have I absolutely see him coming over in a few years. With Kenny gone and Ibushi taking more of a backseat in DDT, he and Endo stepped up in 2014 and 2015 should be a huge breakout year for both of them. Kid is an absolute fukking natural.

Seriously, look out for him.
Now that Konksuke is universally praised as one of the best in the world I'm shamelessy digging up this post from 2015 :pachaha:

This dude TK interrupted my projection though. Without AEW he's definitely a IWGP champ by now.

That 2017-2020 stretch was rough though breh :whoa: don't come here like we weren't screaming for DDT to let him go work other places before he was going to end up a failed project :bryan:

Maybe part of the reason that match doesn't mean much to Bryan is because they stuck him in a feud with.........Kane.
He's always been pretty honest that WM 30 was a weird time for him because professionally it was the culmination of all his hard work, but personally his life was a mess because his dad passed away, he got married (and could barely enjoy it) and he was feeling like shyt physically.

The more he's removed from that moment, and from WWE, he'll probably see it as nothing more than a cool moment instead of the big deal fans (and WWE for that matter) pushed it to be for him.

TK standing on business and not mentioning anything on his account or the company account, and of course there's plenty of discourse from fans that he's not honoring their "hero". :mjlol::stopitslime:
I think he’ll let Tony say a few words on Collision (commentary) since they have history in WCW. As for a memorial graphic and 10 bell, I doubt it.
