It's corny.....they been trying to establish the narrative that hurt business and Mercedes were on that type of time. But it's been apart of the game since forever.What is this, like the fifth “_______ doesn’t want to lose and is getting heat backstage” leak? shyt is starting to get predictable
I believe MVP wants them lose to GOA I heard him put them over multiple times...

Willow has been utilized well but I wanna see her with a title again soon
I always thought it'd be her that got the TBS off Mercedes tbh... she's the start of the story, but it was an end for the whole "Willow's really in the big leagues" story she had going on, the cold dose of reality after the honeymoon... to me it always felt like the peak of her next push was overcoming Mercedes clean to scrub winning the NJPW Strong belt on an injury audible.

It could be Willow. She's on Mercedes list of favorite wrestlers to watch and from a booking perspective, Tony definitely makes sure to always have Willow involved in something

She'd have been foolish to consider it, there are few people in the business that are better suited to their employer than her and AEW. She's an institution in AEW and Tony books her like an actual Pillar of the brand.
Some people are just blessed with a perfect situation and she's got hers.

I like JetSpeed, but I could see why MVP wouldn't wanna put them over.
They're just a makeshift tag team that was put together because... wait for it... creative had nothing for them. And to their credit, they've made it work. But they're not gonna be staples of the tag team division. And they're not stars like Swerve and Ospreay (who were reportedly the original choice to face The Hurt Syndicate at FD). Then add in the fact that they're on the smaller side. I think MVP might have factored in all this and said it doesn't make sense to lose to them

I cackled at "MVP has backstage heat with important people in creative"....there's no important people in creative in AEW besides TK, he is the only dude that matters. And considering how HS is booked is pretty fukking obvious there's no issues there 
After All In Khan basically said that on the first show in January he went back to have full control and stopped letting other people get too involved in sections of the show/programs. He's back to his TWE booking mode and if someone comes to him with an idea that works, he includes it but he said he had enough of multiple people in creative.
He didn't say but it seemed to me that it was the same thing that happened when he took the book from The Elite and he became the only booker all those years ago.
