Yeah, absent them going public, which I don't see happening or a crazy lawsuit we won't know. As such I'm treating "Dragon's" claim with a bit of healthy skepticism.

I know there were rumors or WB buying/owning a percentage of AEW but I don't think that was ever verified and even so I'm sure there is some legal shyt related to ownership percentage and disclosure and all that.

Not clear what you mean when you say “coy about it.” Do you mean purposefully obfuscate the truth, report misinformation he was told, or outright lie?

Wrestlers signing huge deals or receiving more than they made in WWE (which would make sense given theyre more relevant in their AEW roles than their WWE roles) receiving more than what they made in WWE, does not make Bryan’s assertion that AEW is paying out 40-50% of all revenue true.

It’s second nature for people in the wrestling business to lie or spin.

I have absolutely nothing to say whether it's true or not but Danielson's comparison with sports teams is interesting... that's where TK's experience comes from, so it wouldn't surprise me if he's budgeting it like he does his other teams rather than by copying whatever the existing big player in the wrestling industry is doing.

And that could also go a long way to explaining why WWE/TKO are SO pissed off about how much AEW offer people.
