I was thinking the same: chem, petroleum, biomedical, nuclear engineering are top paying ones I believe.

I'm surprised no universities have created a major specifically called "social" engineering.

still good money though :damn:

Maybe it varies by location. I know my boys uncle(who's the reason he decided to get interested in math, anyway) is an Elec Eng and from what I've been told, he makes over 140K. Lives in Cali(so y'know it's accompanied by a high cost of living) and has about 14-16 years in, though. Still, 125K is a lot of money to me, breh. A good return on a 4 year degree. Now the entry level salaries can be extremely shytty depending on where you end up at. I've heard of dudes making as little as 45-50K. Kind of shocking, even in this economy.

:whoa: make sure in between all that studying he finds time to get an internship or co-op

I don't think it's a necessity in the Engineering field but it's always nice to have some real world experience.

125k is a lot of money to me as well. 6 figures period is great. Making 250,000+ in salary would probably mean I'd have to go somewhere crazy like Afganistan and I'm not with that. I'm good at the salary cap that allows mean to still maintain a peace of mind.

fukked around and rushed from Chicago to Denver only to find out the place gonna be closed until 7: 30am. Been here for 2 hours waiting. Got 2 more hours.

That cold ass weather last night in Omaha had me wanting to get outta there quick. I was not trying to be the illest nikka in Nebraska.
