People have no respect for each other. People need to be able to celebrate each and their unique difference.

But I'm about to go on tangent for a minute.


That is why I get low key upset with the Instagram girls that are half naked then wanna post an inspirational quote or Bible verse.

It's like have some respect for yourself. It's not a man out here that is willing to wife a woman out here willing to share herself like that. She may be beautiful with an amazing body ( natural or purchased) but a man is looking for something real and those woman don't seem very genuine to me.

He would wanna have sex with her or possibly make her a fwb.. but he couldn't take her home to momma in her amiclub wear outfit.

This confuses the youth.

All the youth see is the glitz, glam, attention. Plus they see these women messing with popular rich men.

Girls who are on the straight and narrow will see enough girls who "don't respect themselves" get put up on a pedestal that they'll join the game. This is what creates that volume we now have.

Specifically, in the black community.
It's no different for the little boys as well. Enough men get treated like gods by being dope boys or athletes and besides economical dispositions as far as selling drugs go they wanna do that.

Even the kids who grew up on the right side of the tracks STILL wanna do that. All this shyt is an illusion and by the time some people realize that (and many never will) it's too late.

IDK which is why I stopped typing.
I can describe our ailments and their causes in lurid detail:
Give specifics, stats, and cite historical accounts.
But I don't know of any people in history that share our unique experience and circumstance.
Gangbanging and dope dealing is effective and furnishes immediate returns if at immense cost, high risk- high reward.
Investing in athleticism and entertainment has also proven effective, but in exchange for the lowered risk is a delay in returns and increased improbability.
Now my suggestion would be to develop a culture that promotes self-sufficiency and fosters a sense of identity where we don't have to rely on such capricious methods.
But I don't know how to counteract centuries of negative programming and change the trajectory of an entire people.
I've studied the writings and theories of men and women far more intelligent and wise than me and none of what they proposed has furnished any results.
It's partly why I stopped posting in TheRoot and migrated to the popcorn bullshyt of TLR.
Rather mire myself in meaningless drivel than think about the hopelessness of our cause any longer.
Contemplating the state of us and how to remedy that is a depressing affair.
