Plus GS doesn't make money off System sells at all so I don't feel too bad.

Just made the decision to do something very selfless
Last night all my siblings sans my oldest brother were at my parents house for dinner. I've been calling my 23 year old brother a bum because he can't get right and goes from job to job. Basically I look down on him because he's still figuring things out and looking towards my parents for financial support.
He had a car, briefly, but something happened to the engine where it's unrepairable so now he has to sell it in parts to make money off of it but it still hasn't been paid off.
His job is an hour away and he struggles on getting there. Last night my mother got frustrated at him because he said he had no way of getting to work as of late. My cousin passed away yesterday morning which would make the third nephew this year my mother has lost so emotional and irate she took it out on my brother at dinner and that shyt was not cool. I realized my little brother knew he was constantly struggling and failing because of poor work ethic and shytty luck, but we never really emotionally supported him. We just lectured him and belittled him when he failed. So he felt some type of way, I saw it in his face.
I don't ever talk to my brothers but I asked if he was ok and he admitted he wasn't. He didn't act sad or angry, this has been his reality for a while.
So today I call my mom and I offer to pay off his car, buy him a new one and make the monthly payments. I spend my extra money on nails, hair, clothes I don't need, expensive food, stupid shyt off Amazon and so much more that could go towards something useful. I've been sitting on this Security+ study material just to not take the test next month and I could have gave it to him a long time ago and help him get certified.
Mom told me it isn't my responsibility but now I want to see my brothers succeed. I can't believe I've been anticipating their struggle for years to come.
