Another one of those dreams
No different than some women refusing to date certain men because they are too good looking or light skinned. Some women don't want to feel like equals to a man, if the man is good looking...what if he believes he looks better than she does? What if he actually does look better?
Me on the other hand, I've been told I'm attractive all my life and I like the idea of being attractive with another attractive person so it's a plus for me.
With short men, I feel like I can make any man look good, whether he is tall or short.
I men were the ones jealous of their partners?

It can go both ways. But spouses can be jealous of each other the same ways siblings and mother/daughter and father/son can be.I men were the ones jealous of their partners?
I think some men get insecure and jealous with their women because the women may make more money (the men may even be financially dependent on the women) or the women are way more attractive and have pull with other guys so their men may cheat on them to let them know they can get other women.
With women, I think some women know some men are too good for them and they aren't balanced as well...
