I'll never forget about Hurricane Matthew. That shyt was crazy. I couldn't work for like what 3 days? Some people in statesboro had no power. Fast food restaurants had long ass lines, shyt was crazy. Lucky me and moms had power during the whole storm. It really puts your mind in a whole new perspective when you don't have power for a few days. Made me realized I needed to make backup plans and emergences in case anything like this happen again.

Exactly. I (like most people) evacuated to Atlanta. I had never seen so many cars sitting still on 16 especially after they closed all incoming traffic towards downtown Savannah and had all 4 lanes going outward. That shyt was spooky.

Even after coming back home we didn't have power for close to a week.

I pray this hurricane bypasses us because honestly...again...I'm not prepared. :francis:

Yeah they had that stupid ass curfew which I understand was for safety reasons, but didn't allow a lot of people to work tho when people was driving back from Atlanta. The craziest thing was just seeing nothing but black chargers in the streets filled with state troopers and coast guards iirc. shyt was crazy.

Ugh! I forgot about that irritating ass curfew. They were trying their hardest to keep people out of Savannah. We found a back road to get us home and bypass the State troopers that had every main road blocked off.
