Diaspora means people that live abroad/outside their native country. The African Diaspora basically means every person of African descent that was enslaved in the Atlantic slave trade now living in Latin America, the Caribbean and North America basically "the Americas." New World Blacks have become synonymous with "African Diaspora" in academics.

But the Coli thinks it means everyone of African descent including people living in Africa. Before I paid it no mind but then I saw more and more posters using it out of context.
