I think that's why we miss the 90s...
because everyone was so different from the next and almost everyone was still fly.
People were truly just doing them.
Now everyone literally WANT to look like the next person.
I don't see anything wrong with taking a little from this person and that person and still keeping yourself in the mix or being influenced by people of the past to create your aesthetic.
But these folks see 5 people doing something and they all wanna look exactly like it.
Just like that ugly squiggly eyebrow trend going on now. It looks so stupid but everyone is doing their eyebrows like that.
Or the fake freckles.
Everyone is looking like everyone else and no one is really memorable.
Even if they look good, they look replicas of each other, so it's boring.
