i work in finance. i'm a trader with experience in various products, everything from rates/money markets, to fx, to credit and equity derivatives. i'm a jack of many trades but master of few to none. that is probably part of the reason i've had a hard time finding a new opportunity that fits the last few years i've been looking. i'm seasoned well enough that i couldn't settle for entry level salary, but not enough of an expert in any one product area that warrants the type of money i'd need to leave my current job. i'm just bored as fukk here .

Off at UGA right now seeing my babysis graduate , black excellence continues in the fam.

I really want to get out of corporate finance/banking, I went to a private event held by Capitol records last night for their new artist, I know the entertainment industry is where I should be. Everyone in there was like "damn man where you been, what artist you working with now?" All these label reps and people I know, and here I settling with a 9-5 in corporate America , something got to change in 2013.

Investment banking is the worst field to get in right now, banks are cutting those divisions left and right. Citi is laying off 11k worldwide

I left it about a year an a half ago to get something more stable, but I'm slowly making my way back and I still have my network of connections.

good grief my gf just text me talmbout somebody sent her roses at work and there's no card..she told everybody it was from me though...and she works at one of the biggest hospitals in the gotdamn country so it can be anybody there..well looks like i may have to fukk somebody up in the near future

yo i have an older cousin who works as a cameraman for ABC and has a lil record company on the side, dude has blown over 80k and has nothing to show for it
he get an artist, pays random cats too much for tracks, has lil events for them to perform and nothing happens

he has been doing this for about 15 yrs He lives in NY and trying to move to ATL

I have to get my mind right so I can start this process of getting my MBA.

Went out on a date last night with this cute teacher last night and we're talking and everything and she hits me with this:

"I'm not living with my significant other until we get married and I may even not have sex until marriage"

I sat back and thought about it for a min and she was scared to tell me because she was enjoying the date and thought it would scare me off. Told her we are just getting to know each other right now and that part is a long way down the road. The rest of the night we had other interesting conversations.

I respect her views but I can't get down with that.
