Kinda tired of my TL being filled with R Kellz stories for the past three days. He was a monster and all these musicians and media people are retelling the stories they heard. And people are recycling the old "they don't care about us" factoids.

I get it but like... what we accomplishing with this? Is an arrest coming or nah?

LOVED this album when it dropped in 04, even had the promo before the retail release and still remember where some of the drops were, but maaan...it's not sounding as good as I remember it today.

It's an absolute classic for the first 5 tracks, then the rest of the album is mediocre with some dope shyt sprinkled in. Some really weak beat selections and Ace was starting to show his age lyrically.

I don't know any other song that personifies the Afro American experience like this one. I'm just sitting here drinking while enjoying this classic on repeat and just thinking to myself that damn, our people have been through a lot and are still hurting in many ways.
