i don't know where my nephew went, dude gets his phone cut off continually for acting an ass, he doesn't think to call me any other way and i don't have another number for him, my bro doesn't speak to his BM so i wouldn't ask him for her #, my nephew either deactivated his FB or defriended and blocked me (which i don't think he'd do)....i miss my nephew man!!! i couldn't talk to him for christmas and his 16th birthday is coming and i wanted to hook him up...this sucks. all that bullshyt yall got between each other makes communication hard for the rest of us, i miss my little nikka

You don't have any way to contact the mother? Maybe she has a facebook page?
Also, I don't think it's out of line to ask your brother for the mother's phone number so that you can talk to you nephew. My nephews are 19 and 17 and I couldn't imagine not having a way to talk with them. I love them!

sorry to hear that, that sucks
family drama in general is the worst. i'm the only one out of about 8 semi-immediate family members not involved in the family business and the primary reason is so i can steer clear of the bs that goes on between everyone else. i loathe my current job to the core of my skeletal structure but i still won't fall back on the business because it gets that bad at times.

Condos have a lower resale value than houses so that's something to consider. If you're in debt you really shouldn't buy a house but that's your choice. Go with a 15 year fixed mortgage where the payment (including tax and insurance)is no more than 25% of your take home pay.
