I'm reading "The spook who sat by the door" and this part of the book really got me to thinking. It's really crazy how nothing really has changed though.

I wasn't sure if I was becoming more cold hearted or realistic.
I've always been realistic so its probably more cold hearted. Sad thing is that's its not a bad thing, I've always been far to nice and kind to people who dont deserve it. At the same time I can legitimately say I've changed a number of peoples lives for the better.
