Been saving for three years, so hopefully this summer for my 35th birthday.
Looking to go to Manila, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong for a month.
My girl is Filipino and has family in Manila, so it would be a bonus for her.

Wrote a poem today, it was about a Japanese girl that I connected with in Barcelona. I want to share this one because it does actually matter to me. It's weird, when I write things sometimes I can do them emotionless, but as I reflected on my emotions and thoughts of this situation I could feel it, it was as if I tapped into a part of me. Perhaps this is what poetry is all about...

Anyway, here it is.

I am here as you walk in,
And now you have my attention,
My eye's open,
My smile flourishes,
I want, to possess beauty is a guilty pleasure,
And one night, you come back drunk
As red as ever,
Arguing with an ex boyfriend,
I hope you feel better,
You know, maybe you deserve more,
Maybe I deserve you, for the moment.
Although a boy, I'd like to bring you joy,
If only your heart would open.

In the morning while I sleep,
You tickle my feet, to wake up my heart,
My emotions flow like oceans,
A game has begun and I don't know where to start.

The sun rises and another day begins.
You would like to walk and ask that I attend.
Of course.
You make me laugh, you make me care.
It is clear, you're special.
Your hair, your eyes,
Your lips, your smile.
I watch you dress,
And you put makeup on,
But you're beautiful without it,
I just wish that you could see what I saw.
I am amazed, and it never does end,
Barcelona isn't so lonely,
When you have a friend.

You tempt me, you tease me,
I become frustrated,
But you won't make things easy.
I am so happy,
I get to hold you and watch you sleep,
And when we kiss,
I open my eyes to take a peek.
How do you feel?
How do you think?
Do you blush when we touch?
Does your heart sink?

We get up to eat, I'm not hungry,
But you are.
So I follow your lead as we walk far,
In circles, but I don't mind.
My heart takes lead, my eyes go blind.
You want paella, you love to eat.
You love to drink, you do what you feel,
and don't care to think.

We walk through the streets,
Late at night, playing with adoration,
as if we've known each other for life.
In the morning you get up,
It is time to leave,
I am so tired but I can hear your feet.
I am sad you left,
Life could be so sweet,
But memories last forever,
And I am glad we got to meet.

It's long, but I don't know it means something to me.
