Ohhh, I see. I think, sometimes you don't make set dates but that doesn't make your accomplishments invalid. Obstacles arise naturally so timeliness in transgression can seem impossible sometimes but to put a time on things is a good place to start.

Michael didn't make his 5 year mark, but he made transitions that were on a huge scale and he still strived for his original goal. Just because you don't make your goal on time doesn't mean you give up, the deadline comes along with idealism, to be idealistic means to put a measurement upon things. A measurement isn't exact, that's why its called a measurement, but a measurement is needed because without time idealism means what? Ideally he wanted it done in 5, it didn't happen but that's OK, he understands that things don't run smoothly especially in his line if business.

Now, if you've read the book, you would know that the Godfather 2 scenes don't exist but that 5 year plan scene does. Sometimes I disregard the films because the book is way better.

I disagree. The concept of putting something underneath standards, while the standards are underneath no standards makes no sense to me.

1 second is under a standard of 60 seconds. A day, a week. A month a quarter, a quarter a year. And a year to a decade. Do you follow me? I can go on and on, but there is nothing to standardized everything. If there is nothing to standardize everything then the standards themselves cannot be real, -They're idealistic, but they're not real.- because standards need standards to exist and nature has no standards, it's just is itself.

So in my opinion measurements are a conceptualization and a combination between nature and things relative to the human life (time, weight, height, length, etc) to help us understand life better, but they're by no means real and concrete, they're just ideas.
