Man I had my African history mid term today

I chose the essay question about Europeans bringing Christianity commerce and civilization to Africa to emancipate them from slavery.

Felt good about my answer until I realized you had to list 2 examples from separate regions ffs.

Looking back on my response...

I compared the Europeans to me owning a cafe and hiring someone to work under me, then me hiring someone else and that first person I hired becoming the manager. Allowing me to not work anymore and collect profit. Somewhat like an autonomous system.

I know my teacher is going to read it and be like "wtf is this nikka on "

It aint a bad comparison but maybe I should have been more scholarly in my comparison since it was a midterm essay

Also I confused Nigeria with Cameroon on a map and Egypt with Ethiopia and put Uganda where Ethiopia was supposed to be

but then again the essay was actually pretty good and the comparison to me owning the cafe was kinda good imo. I didn't have good examples because that slipped my mind, and if I would have chosen another question I would have had many examples, but it was too late by then.

as far as the african map, meh I'm only human. At least I be trying to give it up and took the initiative. You know there's only 2 other black males in my class besides me and it's 30 people or so.
