Homebuying sucks ass. I'm thinking about a new construction but I need to make sure my 'hood is diverse.
It's borrowing that makes the process suck even worse. New construction is legit because the builders usually give you so many perks. Probably would pay all your closing costs.

Went to a rollerskating rink this morning to see how they run their STEM program and it was a mess and I know we can do better. I can't wait to leave my job so I can focus on it full-time. It was also cool traveling to a different place than work.

The Real Estate thing is interesting because my broker wants me to start targeting people I know and I really don't want to do business with people I know. I don't mind creating new relationships, but I don't want to fukk up an existing one, especially when it's the biggest purchase a person will ever make. Going to have to build up from scratch. I'm thinking of hosting some home buying seminars for free. Just some high level informational or round-table like sessions to see where people are at in the home buying process. I would let people know I'm an agent and if they wanted to work with me that would be great but no pressure.

So my co-worker says "You don't want to leave your job when you have a mortgage, that's scary" LMAO! Is it less scary when you're renting? I mean like my friend told me, with renting you have 3 months, with a house you have way more time. Plus there is greater flexibility with a house, you can bring in room mates or rent it out. Even try to sell it. With an apartment you're just SOL.

True, I learned this year's after renting.
