Finished my training today to start work as a bank teller at a local credit union here. The company is REALLY good to work for, I'm so glad to get out of the shyt-hole that is retail.

I just realized I graduated college 4 years ago today....


I would NEVER step inside a classroom ever again....straight up. NEVER. I'm too good for grad school and I don't need it. I'm too gifted and talented and creative.

In retrospect, college was a waste of time...
I barely even use my degree.

I still haven't found a job in the field I got my degree in (accounting) because I have no experience, but I just got this job at a local credit union bank and they're a super good company and they have an accounting department so I should be able to get there someday and they have other avenues I could venture down as well after enough time and experience there. I wouldn't say my education was useless though because obviously a lot of banking stuff has to do with accounting but school really taught me how to read a question and think very critically about it and I think that comes in handy in the real-world. I'd go back to school if it was free lol, after being out for a few years I realize that I actually kind of liked it in a way, but it was also a fukk-ton of work.
