so i have two part-time jobs right now, with my job at the bank going full time in August and my other job is retail. So I did a no-call no-show on wednesday of last week after working normally monday and tuesday. I was working my bank job all day thursday and friday so I was off from my retail job. So I go into work at my retail job today to find out I've been fired. My manager told them that I didn't come in at all last week even though I was there monday and tuesday..............................wtf
I fail to see why you're surprised that they fired you. I'd fire you too for a no-call no show only for you to waltz in the next day.

it's company policy to fire after 3 consecutive no-show no-calls. I don't give a flying fukk about the job is why I didn't call them, but I also knew that I wouldn't get in trouble for 1 nocall noshow. Until my manager told them I didn't come in at all last week which would be 3 consecutive nocall noshows and thus I was terminated. And I didn't waltz in the next day, this is last week, I was off until today.
i just didn't care, i was in some type of mood. They're "reinstating" me though. it was my first ever nocall noshow so i didn't think i'd get into any trouble

Things are looking up on the work front. I have a phone interview on Friday about a developer position, similar to what I do now, but my title at my current job is analyst. The developer role can definitely command some more money, so that's exciting.
I also talked with my mentors about my real estate goals. I told them I don't think I would be a strong seller and I wasn't sure what to do. So they want me to do online/social media marketing and I would get paid off the leads I generate. I'd get paid once for bringing in the buyer and a second time at closing. They had a whole slew of other things I could do that didn't involve traditional selling of real estate but I could still get paid for. I'm anxious to learn.
