recently had jury duty and when they asked potential jurors of they had any reason they couldn't remain as jurors for a certain time period, I noticed only one black person had a flight out of the country and more than 10 white people had flights or cruises booked. more black/minority potential jurors couldn't afford to miss work or had to take care of someone(medical nature) than white potential jurors and the stark difference is absolutely rooted in wealth inequality.
